An Academy Award-nominated actress, Diane Lane started acting professionally at age six, made her film debut when she was thirteen in A Little Romance, was featured on the cover of Time, and was reportedly a multi-millionaire by the time she turned eighteen. As if this isn't impressive enough, she's also one of the few actors who has successfully survived the transition from child-acting to adult roles.

In 2002, she got a nomination for Best Actress in the Academy Awards for her performance in the film Unfaithful. The New York Film Critics as well as The National Society of Film Critics honored her for her work in that film. She also appeared in Under The Tuscan Sun and rumors have it that she's poised to take on the Jane Jetson role in The Jetsons movie in 2009, although that still isn't confirmed.
